ABOUT THIS BLOG

While traversing through this crazy, amazing world we live in, I've discovered that I love to write. And that it is therapeutic for me. See up front, this blog is kind of selfish :) But I've also discovered that I really do like sharing my experiences, and find the blogging world special.

I'm a veteran in my late 20s early 30s wondering where the time has gone! I really value the experiences I had in my short 4 1/2 years in the Air Force, but wasn't feeling happy or even fulfilled doing what I was doing, so I took the leap to leave with the phenomenal support of my husband. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster since as I'm learning what being "the spouse" is really like and developing a greater appreciation of what the military life entails, that I suspect I would have developed more deeply over time anyway. But we're Team Clark and it's been a great ride so far. I'm working on the balance of following my own passions while also feeling more appreciative of the amazing people and experiences I already have in my life.

I'm a RUNNER (I especially like that one). I'm an up and coming triathlete (watch out). I find fitness to be such a critical part of my life and know that it is critical to life in general. On so many physical and mental levels. I've discovered that working out is not really optional for me. I not only enjoy doing it, but have realized I'm terrible at functioning without it in my routine. Perhaps this is why I chose degrees in movement and exercise science. The body is amazing. That is why I also enjoyed my brief time as a wellness coach....people discovering their true passions and what works for them is the answer! To so many questions.

I'm the proud wife of a super cool Air Force pilot. I'm a dog mom. I'm obsessed. With my dogs. Well, and my husband :) We like to travel.

This blog is about nothing in particular except the lives of a military spouse and her amazing family, always on the move. I like it that way. In this blog I share stories, adventures, reflections, ups and downs, and maybe some food...ok I'm kind of a foodie. I also love great beer & wine. Living in Europe- winning.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have using the form at the top of the page!
